- 10 years of leadership and involvement in the community as a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) member.
- Awarded as Outstanding Member by NAMI Wisconsin, 2007.
- Mental health teaching and mentoring experience.
- Liaison and advocate for people affected by mental illness.
- Support group leader.
